The Lloyd Loom Manufacturing Classic Collection has been well recieved by the crowds at the Ideal Home Show in Glasgow. Many people have cast a nostalgic eye over the collection whilst commenting on the quality of our furniture. Our time at the show has been filled with recollections of childhood and the ways classic Lloyd Loom furniture has featured in many peoples lives.

Our Stand has also received many admirers due to its open and inviting design ” Beautiful… Like a little Oasis” Jane M. Aberdeen

During Lloyd Loom’s visit to iSalone, we to took time out to visit ercol’s stand as British manufactures we have a lot in common, Since the start of ercol in 1920, like Lloyd Loom Manufacturing, design has always been at the heart of what they do – design for comfort, design for function, design for beauty.

Ercol combine practicality with looks, be it the storage of their sideboards, shelving units, bookcases and display cabinets, the comfort of their famous studio couch and chairs, or the utility of ercol’s coffee tables, lamp tables and desk’s.

At Lloyd Loom Manufacturing we share Ercol’s commitment and desire for British production and design. Lloyd Loom visit Milan iSalone 2015

Lloyd Loom representatives have toured Milan’s Salone Del Mobile, and Fuorisalone, combined they are by far the most important events for the furniture industry. Having shown in Milan in the past we are always keen to see the latest designs and developments. Every year the world of design decends on Milan, the “Fair” is the focus of the world major furniture groups, and the Salone Satellites are seen as a platform for emerging designers. Recently there is a growing presence of fashion houses, architects, car manufacturers and electric consumer goods that are keen to show there design credentials, this year even saw the mighty Apple presenting the new Watch in a 24 hour flash event.

We have been particularly impressed with the British makers, who like us here at Lloyd Loom Manufacturing continue to represent their dedication to design, manufacture and creativity.

Lloyd Loom will be at the Farm Shop & Deli Show 2015, taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, from 20 to 22 April.
